Google launches a new program to support Women Entrepreneurs in India

Google has launched a new initiative called Women Entrepreneurs on the Web(WEOW) to help women-owned businesses grow their online presence. The program will provide women entrepreneurs support on using various web-based technologies in their day to day business, thereby helping them reach out to more customers.
“We realized that they were true entrepreneurs who were not afraid to try new things, yet many were unaware of various products that can be used to leverage the full potential of the Internet. The large number of women entrepreneurs in India made it a natural decision for us to pilot this initiative here ,” Google writes about this new program on its official blog.
The WEOW program is a 5 circle approach designed specially to cater to women entrepreneurs with varied degrees of online presence and expertise.  The entrepreneurs participating in this initiative get to learn about ways to build an online presence, collaborate and connect with customers effectively, promote their organizations, and optimize their online presence.
You can find more details on this initiative on the WEOW website. Also check out the WEOW Youtube channeland Google+ Page for more updates on this.
